i know i'm going to get trashed for saying this but i will
i'm not an Obama "hater" but i just couldn't side with his policy
and life will change for many of those who supported mccain - and i DID
there i said it I may be the only one, but it's whats in my heart
when i was younger my family foreclosed on a house got a car repossessed, basically lost everything and my parents had two kids under two years old and they had to move back in with their parents
since then my dad has worked his ass off every single day
working for the shittiest boss every day for 15 years to finally be able to go out on his own and start his own business
he works for himself so he's never truly off the clock - every day he drives all over the state of florida for his job - he does absolutely everything himself

but now what sucks, just because my dad's business does well, (he's not sitting on his butt every having others do jobs for him every day but he works his ass off for 10 to 15 hours a day) his taxes are going to shoot through the roof

it's not like he makes millions of dollars every year - no where near that - but he makes enough to make life comfortable
i know many people need and live on wellfare, but there are hundreds of thousands that abuse the system
what upsets me is that because my dad works 15 hours a day to make a good living for his family he's going to be taxed even more so that stimulus checks can be given to those who don't even pay taxes

i know no one wants to hear it or don't want to believe it but if you've ever taken an economics class they'll tell you that "fiscal policy" (if you don't know what it is look it up) is only a band aid and can never truly repair an economy in ruins it must be combined with monetary policy (generally viewed to be a conservative economic policy) to permanently help the economy

i hope that obama realizes that not everyone that makes more than 200,000 a year is a corrupt business dealer
i believe big business needs some monitoring to prevent the corruption that got us into this mess
i am not for redistribution of wealth - so many americans work so hard for their money, not to have it taken away and giving it away to those who don't work
i live in miami - one of the most, if not the most, ethnically diverse city in the country, and every day i watch people of all backgrounds not working and collecting unemployment and wellfare when they are perfectly able to work at the expense of people like my father that work their ass off every day

i'm not mad that Obama is president, he's who the majority of people wanted
but i hope he opens up and looks at some issues from the other side of the spectrum

i haven't written one of these in a while...don't even know if anyone reads them
i'm pretty excited found out i got into florida tech and university of south florida
i'm still waiting on university of miami and college of charleston
and i wan't to apply to american university, pretty much the only university in the country that you can study audio production and not have to audition for an instrument...college applications are so stressful
other than that life's been going good...can't wait for senior year to be over
but october is going to be a fun month
this past saturday i saw the academy is..., we the kings, and hey monday - the venue flooded inside but it was still fun
tomorrow i hope to go see the rocket summer and phantom planet
then the weekend of the 18th i'm going to see all time low, mayday parade, the maine, and every avenue on friday and saturday night and going to halloween horror nights on sunday with pretty much everyone from my school - i can't remember the last time i had columbus day off of school
when i get back on tuesday THIS WAR IS OURS IS FINALLY OUT, i know i illegally downloaded it, but there's nothing like actually holding the cd in your hand
then on wednesday i'm going to rise against and hopefully seeing the hint on thursday
then it's HALLOWEEN...hopefully i'll be in tampa (actually st. pete) on the 31st to see family force 5 play and then what it seems like i've been waiting my whole life for ESCAPE THE FATE!!!! i can't wait - and i'm dying to see alesana and chiodos
then of course we all know 11/4 if foilex a deu...and the following friday is panic at the disco and the cab and saturday is the pink spiders - their new cd sweat it out is amazing you should buy it
obviously october was too small to hold all this amazingness so it spilled over into november - and there's still more
who could miss a cobra starship and forever the sickest kids concert - not me
and to top it all off the physical cd of suicide season from bring me the horizon is out the 18th

well my parents are out of town so thats cool, but i have to stay at my cousins
i can't bring my computer so no buzznet for a week :-(
maybe i'll be on in the afternoon, but i usually practice drums in the afternoon
anyway i'll be back in a week if anyone is wondering where i went :-)

that was the lamest show i've ever been to. not because the bands were lame the were doing everything to try and get the crowd excited, but no one was even moving. all the bands did great, i went to see metro station and armor for sleep. i felt so bad first off the place wasn't even half full, and armor had major gear problems. p.j. the lead guitarist's guitar didn't work so ben who plays rhythmic and is also lead singer gave him his. they couldn't play their whole set list and there were these trashed assholes heckling them cause they weren't playing. the venue was awful there were no cameras allowed. i don't know what people were there to see b/c every band that came on no one showed any emotion they were just standing there like they were in pain for listening to this. the filler music between sets was some weird vodoo shit. basically thats the last time i come to orlando for a concert. get some energy orlando. i'm going back to south florida, i'd gladly drive the extra 2 hours to jacksonville or 4 to tallahasse. now that i'm off my soapbox everyone that played tonight did AMAZING...the crowd just sucked with the exception of about 15 other people who actually looked like they enjoyed being there and listening to some great music

i'm on spring break and usaully my family and i go on a family vacation, but this time we didn't so my sister and i were really bored and my mom was working and my dad was hungover (lovely i know). so we decided to go to this place called lion country safari in west palm beach. it's like a really cheesy amusement park but the good part about it is you get to drive through all these animal habitats and see lions and rhinos and zebras and girraffs(?). we had a pretty good time a decent way to spend your vacation when literally everyone else you know is on cruises and you can't call them. oh well the only compensation for not going on vacation is i get to go to taste of chaos next wednesday and we might stay in miami for a few days just to feel like were on vacation. well i though i'd put some pics up of my super fun day
